The conference venue is the “S. Domenico” centre, a magnificent square-shaped structure,
with its old cloisters dating back to the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, amongst the oldest places of the city.
The chapter room displays a precious fresco of Saint Dominic from the 14th century. The complex
is located in the city centre, and it is a renowned venue for conferences, workshops, concerts and other
social events. The largest room can host up to 395 persons.
Additional rooms, with a seating capacity from 70 to 160 people, are available for parallel sessions. The centre comprises a large cloister that can be used for coffee breaks.Free wireless networking will be provided at the conference venue by the INFN–Bologna computing group (eduroam and local access), while the University will be in charge for technical support. Electrical plugs in every seat row will be provided.
